Tom Prebble is an educational consultant and researcher. He spent much of his career at Massey University serving most recently as Professor of Higher Education and previously as Principal (Extramural and International), Director of Extramural Studies, and Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Educational Administration. He is now a Professor Emeritus of Massey University. Tom has extensive experience of evaluation and quality assurance in education having served on the Committee on University Academic Programmes (CUAP), conducted numerous programme and process reviews, and currently serving as an Honorary Auditor for the Australian Universities Quality Agency. He is also a member of the Board of Ako Aotearoa and was the Establishment Director for that organisation.
