ITP Quality Board Strategy PDF Print E-mail

Strategic Direction 2011-2015

The ITP Quality Board would like to hear from your organisation on its draft strategy for the period 2011 to 2015.

Recent changes in the ITP sector and ongoing reforms in the quality assurance regime in tertiary education mean that the next five years will not be 'business as usual' for ITP Quality. The developments being proposed in this strategy will also mean changes in the ways in which ITPs and stakeholders relate to ITP Quality. For these reasons, it is particularly important that the ITP Quality Board obtains input on this proposed strategy from its members and other interested parties.

Over the past month, the Board has sought feedback from its member institutions. The response has generally been very positive. Members continue to be strongly supportive of a sector-led quality assurance body. They are also supportive of the priorities proposed for ITP Quality.

The ITP Quality Board now wishes to consult with its key stakeholders in Government and industry to get your views on the draft strategy. The Board is particularly interested in hearing whether the new strategy will meet your organisation's expectation of ITP Quality. Following consideration of this feedback, the Board will confirm its strategy in early Sepember in time to inform its Business Plan for 2011.

The ITP Quality Board should receive your comments by Wednesday 28 July 2010. Please send these to Judith Brown, Executive Director, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or PO Box 10344, The Terrace, Wellington 6143.
